Bright Horizons Children's Centers is Hiring a Director, Learning & Development Near Broomfield, CO

Jovie, a leading franchise system in the childcare industry, is seeking a dynamic Training Director to join our team. As a Training Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful rollout of new software systems across our franchise network, assessing training needs across the organization, and fostering collaboration between Jovie support teams and franchise owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our franchise network.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Training Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify training needs and gaps across the organization. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including franchise owners, department heads, and Jovie support teams, to gather feedback and insights on training requirements.

  • Training Program Development: Collaborate with department leads to develop customized training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of franchise owners and staff. Utilize a variety of training methods and formats, including in-person sessions, webinars, e-learning modules, and written materials, to effectively deliver training content.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong collaboration and communication between Jovie support teams and franchise owners to ensure alignment on training initiatives and goals. Serve as a liaison between franchise owners and Jovie support teams, facilitating feedback loops and addressing any training-related issues or concerns.

  • Software Support: Lead the planning, development, and execution of training programs for new software rollouts within the Jovie.com franchise system. This includes designing training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure franchise owners and staff are proficient in using the new software, along with future updates / refinements.

  • Training Evaluation: Implement mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of training programs and assess the impact on franchise performance and productivity. Continuously evaluate and refine training strategies based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry best practices.

  • Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and advancements in training methodologies and technologies. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the training function to enhance the overall franchise experience.

What we hope you will bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's Degreein Education, Training, Business Administration, orrelated field. Masters preferred. 5 additional years of relevant experience could be considered in lieu of education.

  • 7years of experience developing and facilitating adult learning and training

  • Proven experience in training program development and delivery, preferably within a franchise or multi-unit retail environment.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve common goals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed to conduct on-site training sessions and support franchise locations.

The salary range for this position is $79,000-$86,000

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
